Ive been a WAH member for less than a year, and in that short time my life has dramatically changed.I went from having only one client and making enough to help us just get by to now having three clients (with a new client in the first stages of discussion) and making enough that we have already paid for a great six-day vacation this coming October. This is the absolute truth: three weeks after joining WAH, and using just one of Julies suggestions that was posted on the WAH homepage, I found a new client. The work was a one-time project, but that one project actually paid for a four-day trip to Key West, FL. I now have the confidence
to approach and take on new clients and new work, and I know how to say
no to work that I do not want to do (a necessary evil and a hard thing
to do the first time around!).When I first contacted
Julie about what WAH was all about, she was very clear that WAH was not
some "easy-money" scheme and could not find me work. That was
something I had to do on my own. What WAH would do, however, was help
me with the how-tos of finding work. I could get ideas, tips, have questions
answered and use the job database as a place to start. She assured me
that only legitimate at-home jobs were posted. But the key was that I
was still on the hook to actually put forth the effort to find clients,
get work, and keep the clients.True to Julies
prediction, I DID work hard at finding new clients. It didnt come
quick or easilybut come it did. And I attribute each new personal
success to some one little tip, idea, message, article and tutorial that
I have found at WAH. A bonus that I didnt count on was finding a
wonderful new cyber-friend. We are our own mutual support group, and I
cant tell you the number of ways in which our friendship has benefited
meboth work-related and personally.I have since canceled
my memberships to two other online freelance services. When my membership
comes due early this Fall, I intend to become a lifetime member of WAH.
I plan to continue to grow, improve and flourish as a freelance copyeditor/proofreader.
And I hope that WAH will be with me all the way.Jan K., The Proofer
"You restored
my faith... I thank you so much for your time, patience and helpful information.
You are such a blessing.""Again, I have
to thank you for all your support. You afforded me support when even my
family has given up on me and my making a success out of my ideas....
Thanks a bundle.""I can't thank
you enough. I was at my wit's end and didn't know what I was going to
do. Thank you so much for making this information available.""This is going
to sound weird but how can you give me so much help for only twenty dollars?
Where do you find time to help everybody?" This is from Terri,
who started a web page design business after joining Work@Home: I'm an educated
professional who spent over 25 years "team playing" up the corporate
ladder in search of security and recognition, only to discover a political
game in which I did not want to participate. Then I thought surely
a small company would find me valuable. Finally after years of being over-worked
and worrying if the company would make enough money to meet payroll, about
a year ago I began to look for a way to work for myself. I checked the newspapers,
watched the infomercials and surfed the net. I e-mailed dozens... asking
if they would tell me a little more about how their program worked, but
almost never got a reply. The few who did respond made it sound like "let's
make a deal! Send your money now... we're only accepting a few more entries,"
but never answered my questions. I finally figured
I'd try one and see what happened. It cost me $45 for a mailing list of
500 "telecommuting" jobs. Well after another $40 in postage,
92% were returned, "No Such Addressee." That was just one of
the scams I wasted money on. So let me tell you
when I came across Work@Home, I was as big a skeptic as they come. I e-mailed
for information... and I was so surprised... someone responded and actually
answered my questions. But that still was not enough for me. When I mailed
my money, I sent a nasty note -- "I hope you're not going to just
steal my money." On the contrary!
Work@Home has never let me down. The information was all there. In fact,
there was so much information I wanted to get started in every part. Now... Work@Home
is not a "Get Rich Quick Scheme." Let's face it, there are really
no free rides anywhere (and if you believe in free rides, I can probably
also convince you that Ed McMahan will be delivering you a check any day
now). Seriously, what
Work@Home is - It's valuable, working information for serious people.
It is a compilation of research, sectioned into categories that provide
you with the tools to help get you started so you can work your own business.
And that's not all! If you have questions, the folks at Work@Home are
always willing to help. You'll See. This letter was sent by one of the Work@Home members to a consumer group, and they sent me a copy of it. This one is from Robin: I am complimenting on Work@Home service and product. I had to quit a good paying job to stay home with my sick child. I have been looking for something that I could do at home for over a year. I have tried just about every scam out there. I have wasted hundreds of dollars on companies promising that they can help find jobs for people who want to work at home. This opportunity with Work@Home has been the first and only legitimate offer I have found. Not to mention the cheapest. They are honest in their advertising for their service. Once I ordered they had a prompt response so that I could begin. They offer support everyday. I have emailed them several times and have always received a prompt, friendly and appropriate response. I suggest you seriously take a look at their site. I have tried just about everything like the sort out there and Work@Home is the most ethical and helpful. Please feel free to contact me.
